In the end of 2015 an international team from Namibia, The Netherlands and Germany came together in a Skype conference call. They discussed the opportunities to support Namibia’s and Africa’s fastest sprinter (T11) Ananias Shikongo. Not long after this first meeting the campagne #Run4Rio was born. The team worked together to build a website, started a crowdfunding campagne and connected the athlete with sponsors.
The team is very proud of his achievements in Rio 2016 and is looking forward to give support for the next challenges and dreams.
